Sharon Stone recreated one of her famous scenes from “Basic Instinct” via Instagram on Thursday, captioning her post, “BASICALLY ….YOURS 
.”
The actress, 66, sat in a wooden chair with one leg crossed over the other – just as her character, Catherine Tramell, did in the 1992 erotic thriller.
While Stone wore an all-white ensemble in the Paul Verhoeven-directed hit movie, she switched it up for her seductive social media upload by sporting red lingerie.
She styled the matching lace bra and panties set with a large statement necklace and strappy blue high heels that featured purple bows near the ankles.
Stone’s Instagram post quickly received thousands of comments, with many of her followers praising her for both the “epic” movie shoutout and how “amazing” she looks, including her celebrity friends.
One fan noted that this is the kind of content everyone wants to “see more” of – “women of a certain age bold and daring. 
.”
Another added, “Amazing picture, iconic mamma just owning herself, True empowerment. Beautiful.”
Several other Instagram users quoted famous lines from the film, including Stone (in character as Catherine Tramell) lighting a cigarette and asking officers, “What are you going to do, charge me with smoking?”
The 1992 classic also starred Michael Douglas in the role of Detective Nick Curran. In the famous scene Stone recreated, her character tried to distract the police as they were interrogating her by talking about sex, striking sultry poses and uncrossing her legs to reveal she was commando.
The scene initially received mixed feedback and was viewed as controversial at the time. However, the role catapulted Stone to fame and gave the actress her first Golden Globe nomination.
All these years later, Stone is still unashamedly causing a stir. The actress recently shared a photo of herself painting — ditching her top and wearing only a pair of light blue bikini bottoms.
“Sometimes I just have to go from pool to painting ,” she cheekily captioned the picture on Tuesday.
The upload followed previously shared snaps of herself rocking another bikini, posing without a top on and posing pantsless in a “Basic Instinct” T-shirt.
